5 photos of Solid Rock Landscape is probably the things my hubby has expressed almost no fascination with. He just does not realize why we dump money into making the yard something apart from exactly what it already is. With a river behind the house he feels it’s our duty permit nature control and protect itself. Let the land lie since it will is his yard maintenance motto.
I however, don’t have the same way. As he tackled within the house when we moved in I started on the outside. The first thing I did was remove the ant infested railroad tie border that’s a make shift flower bed and pull everything that’s planted out. The people before us had tiny "gardens" throughout the yard. It was feasible for me to eliminate them. I knew it needed an updated badly and I was the woman to do the job.
The river bank was full of overgrown seedling trees and nastiness. In cleaning the area up with the river bank my absolute goal would have been to utilize what existed just as much as we’re able to. I wanted to hold the bigger scale trees and new tree rise in place. A natural environment is but one that can protect the lending company area from eroding much better than any manufactured wall and yes it look completely better. In managing the erosion that can naturally come about we began taking boulders that have been about the yard and placing them for the fringe of the river. In doing this they’re molding the soil around them and holding it in place.

The house were built with a great deal of areas of blandness. The garage lacked any sort of bushes or shrubs to balance and hide the brick that formed the foundation. In order to create spaces which can be visually interesting and had balance I choose to plant alternating green and purple flowering bushes. They really made the garage blend in to the house rather than look so separate.
Now that the garage and river banks were taken care of we had to think about the front and backyard landscaping. I was sure I wanted products in your garden that have been irregular rather than formed in shape. I like a bit from the fantasy, flowing look when it comes to plants and shrubs. I immediately gravitated towards a border that incorporated multi-leveled logs standing vertically. This really ties in to the natural element of the river. I then choose some large landscape boulders make them in several places inside bed to tie in using the river side of the home. Shrubs were planted that have been free forming and daisies were added for color and ground cover for filler and your garden was completed.
The backyard was simple. I took the rock element and carried it in to a fire pit arena. It ended up beautifully and allowed us to perform away using the three flower beds that basically eliminated any space to deal with to experience inside boundaries from the yard. I added several benches made out of wood around with the river and fire pit as accents. It is a very cozy Solid Rock Landscape design.
To start being active . fun and flair towards the landscaping I place tiki torches around the deck area in the summertime and solar ground lights inside the path towards the fire pit. It adds a little bit of metal in to the Solid Rock Landscape design breaking up the green around us. It has grown on my hubby since the summer’s progress and the man has even taken to a little bit of landscaping on his own using the installation of a spead boat ramp that blends naturally in to the river. That is truly is merely contribution as I still find myself mowing and weeding the yard every weekend as he tends a fire and jumps inside the boat for a lot of river time.
