5 photos of True North Landscape is probably the things my hubby has expressed hardly any interest in. He just won’t discover why we dump money into making the yard something aside from just what it already is. With a river behind our home he feels it can be our duty to allow nature dominate and protect itself. Let the land lie because it will is his yard maintenance motto.
I however, do not glance at the same manner. As he tackled the inside of our home whenever we moved in I started externally. The first thing I did was get rid of the ant infested railroad tie border which was a make shift garden and pull everything which was planted out. The people before us had tiny "gardens" everywhere in the yard. It was possible for me to get rid of them. I knew it needed an updated badly and I was your ex to do the job.
The river bank was packed with overgrown seedling trees and nastiness. In washing the area up with the river bank my definitive goal was to utilize what existed as much as we might. I wanted to hold the larger scale trees and new tree rise in place. A natural environment is but one that will protect the financial institution area from eroding better than any synthetic wall and yes it look one hundred percent better. In managing the erosion that will naturally take place we began taking boulders which were concerning the yard and placing them about the edge of the river. In doing this they are molding the floor around them and holding it set up.

The house were built with a large amount of areas of blandness. The garage lacked any kind bushes or shrubs to balance and hide the brick that formed the foundation. In order to create spaces which can be visually intriguing and had balance I choose to plant alternating green and purple flowering bushes. They really made the garage blend in the house and never look so separate.
Now that this garage and river banks were covered we’d to think concerning the front and yard landscaping. I was sure I wanted pieces of a garden which were irregular and never formed in shape. I like a bit from the fantasy, flowing look in relation to plants and shrubs. I immediately gravitated towards a border that incorporated multi-leveled logs standing vertically. This really ties in the natural component of the river. I then choose some large landscape boulders and set them in a variety of places within the bed to tie in while using river side of the home. Shrubs were planted which were free forming and daisies were added for color and ground cover filler and a garden was completed.
The yard was simple. I took the rock element and carried it right into a fireplace arena. It ended up beautifully and allowed us to complete away while using three flower beds that truly eliminated any space for the kids to try out within the boundaries from the yard. I added several benches created from wood around with the river and fireplace as accents. It is a very cozy True North Landscape design.
To add some fun and flair for the landscaping I place tiki torches throughout the deck area during the summer time and solar ground lights in the path for the fireplace. It adds some metal in the True North Landscape design breaking up the green around us. It has grown on my hubby as the summer’s progress and the man has even taken up some landscaping on his own while using installing a ship ramp that blends naturally in the river. That is truly is only contribution as I still find myself mowing and weeding the yard every weekend as they tends a hearth and jumps in the boat for some river time.
